On January, 31st, 2011, the third generation Parans light will be launched. Parans light provides natural sunlight to indoor environments, a product that is sold worldwide. - The development of the new generation has been intense and we can now present a new product that delivers higher levels of brightness and offers easier installation. The innovative new design also offers a smaller solar receiver and a lower price, says Daniel Johansson, technical project manager at the Swedish company Parans Solar Lighting AB (publ). One of the key innovations of the new solar receiver is its ability to track the sun throughout all sun hours. - In addition, we have developed new lenses that are far more efficient and deliver higher levels sunlight. Because only half of the number of lenses are needed compared with the current generation Parans light the receiver is both smaller and easier to install and manage says Daniel J ohansson. The Parans system easily transmits sunlight into buildings through the outdoor receiver, fibre optic cables and luminairies inside. Parans light can be used both in rooms or parts of rooms where the sun does not reach, as well as improving the working or living environment. The new receiver follows the sun and leads the sunlight into the building. - We at Parans are pleased to be able to introduce the third generation Parans light into both the private and commercial markets. It is a tremendous feeling to be able to deliver a product that many more people may utilise, and benefit from, thanks to a simpler design, smaller size and hence a lower price, says Nils Nilsson, CEO of Parans. In conjunction with the launch of the new product generation the Parans web site will be redesigned. - Here we will publish information before and during the launch and those who wish can request information to be sent to them, says Nils Nilsson.
